TPS reports
I got a movie on my mind and its "Children of Men", I won't reveal much, only to say that I saw it yesterday and that it was great. The film however, is 100% not for the faint of heart nor those who have difficulty seperating reality from fiction no matter how close they may resemble each other. Check out the picture seen in this link from todays NY Times, did that bug you out? Well that's the type of current reality NOT fiction, which sort of exemplifies the movies overall tone. Which makes it all a little scarier.
Anyway, I have not felt as weird after watching movie since "The Day After", and I am not a sci-fi junkie, so maybe there are other flicks out here just as intense. In any event check it out, and be forewarned.

You may have seen the definition of a "streak shooter" this weekend if you follow the Knicks. Jamal Crawford, 20 of 30 on Friday for an unbelivable 52 points against the Heat, followed by a 9 of 24 performance in a loss to the Bucks. Where does Jamal Crawford rank in the pantheon of Knicks streak shooters? Johnny Newman? John Starks? Gerald Wilkins?......who you goin with (and you can't choose Allan Houston).
Check out this new band, The Frequency
They are called "Blipsters" so deal with it; sort of a reverse "whigger"
Did you go to Spring Valley High School, if so aren't you curious to know how the basketball team is doing? (russ this is for you)

Oh Snap! A one point loss in overtime to North Rockland!?!?! The life of a SV Bball fan continues to mirror that of a knicks fan. To quote Clyde yesterday "they always seem to make it excruciating".
I'd also like to echo another quote from Clyde's commercial yesterday that hit close to home for me "no play for Mr. Grey". Ouch.
Word, Clyde has just inspired me to catch Children of Men this week...and Jamal Crawford = John Starks on a really really good day.
wow erik, thats pretty low for J Craw
Just to continue on your Children of Men rant, check this out (those who haven't seen the movie might not want to check it out).

I think the comment I agree with the most from it is "this smoldering picture may be the bleakest movie you'll ever want to see twice"
OK, done pumping up this movie. but GO SEE IT!
yes scott, where is ramapo?
I was wondering the same thing Scotty. And did we ever play the Clarkstown schools...where are they? Is Ramapo still a high school? I think it might be like just 9th grade or something and Spring Valley is the rest? Or maybe that's the junior high schools they screwed around with. Who knows anymore.
Kakiat is the Freshman Center. Ramapo and SV and both 10-12. Combined is a 12% graduation rate.
