the day after....
Ahh the collective feeling of an American hangover......Superbowl Monday. Between the gluttonus behavior of I (and the rest of America), on Superbowl Sunday, and the 8 degree morning, today was a day to stay in bed. However, I am here, a faithful servant of the man who pays me, and a servant of you, my readers.
So the Football season is over, and that is sad, its final game was merely an ok game played by two lame (dare I say ....mediocre) teams who for the first half seemed uninterested in winning (really sloppy play). In the end, hurray for the Colts, and especially Peyton Manning who got his ring and a call from our nations "First Fan" Prez George Bush. Peyton you are no longer the Alex Rodriguez of the NFL.
The owner of the Colts, is the eccentric Jim Irsay, seen here in a pic with some of his pretty famous guitars, he also happens to own the original scroll/manuscript to Jack Kerouacs, "On the Road", add to that a Superbowl trophy, and you got one filthy rich guy, with many quality possessions. At WWCD, we do not believe that a mans possessions make him a good or bad person, rather, just noting, he has some cool shit.
Lastly, and most importantly on Superbowl XVI, was the best part of the game, and that was Prince, and his halftime show (watch at this link). An intense, power packed 15 minutes of straight ahead rock and roll, delivered by a one cool mofo....Prince, you are, for today, cooler than Clyde...
Otherwise:
We can now solely focus on one thing, thats the Knicks making the playoffs
