from my three wall enclosure

what are you reflecting today

Today, an anniversary, of 2/28/03, and important date in the history of one band, that band was Phish. It was a crisp night in Nassau County, friends gathered a band played, good times were had, really good times. Reminsce about that great show, with this article. Even if you are not a "phan", this article could provide a slight insight in to what that whole "phish" thing was about.

In other news, I will be out of NYC for 10 days, beginining manana, and will be headed for the great city of Austin, Texas, though for a work trip. During this, time I highly encourage you to visit other blogs (especially the irreverant jazzblahg), or continue to check in with me, as I will occasionally post my Austin observations (probably while drunk in the middle of the night). If any of you, my readers, has any Austin tips of the trade, let me know.

To keep you movin' and groovin':

There is a great band out there, some you know them some of you don't...MOFRO....they have a new album out. Its like if Wilco was a southern rock band.....

Antibalas is back with a new album and tour - great live band - March 10th at Warsaw anyone anyone?

Knick Legend - Jamal Crawford, done for the year? and as a result....Knicks tickets are getting cheaper ->

Sports: Cheap Knicks Tix

For tickets, NBA.com/knicks (enter code THRILLIST)

Offer valid for Mar 6, 16, 22, 26, and Apr 4 games

Pleasantly shocked that the Knicks've already surpassed last year's win total? If you're still too pessimistic to pay full price to see them, use the above code to snag 50%-off tickets for one of five upcoming games. The first is Tuesday's Seattle matchup, the last April 4's against the lowly 76ers -- who having just staked their future on
Samuel Dalembert, are entering a period of bleakness that'll make last year's Knicks look pretty great

Check out the Pope, getting a fresh new yamaca

And ofcourse, a little Mitch Hedberg:

"Mr. Pibb is a replica of Dr Pepper, but it's a bullshit replica, 'cause dude didn't even get his degree. Why'd you have to drop out and start makin' pop so soon?"
