why I am the way I am, began at an early ageI just scored some tix to see the Beastie Boys at McCarren Pool in the WillyB. McCarren looks to be one of the cooler venues I have seen music in, check out some pics here. However on the same day, is the Black Crowes at Summerstage and The Hold Steady at Celebrate Brooklyn. Tough choices, but only one of these bands defines NY, and better yet defines Brooklyn...leaning Beasties here.
Anyway, more music, as the Bonnarroo Music Fest is underway, the NY times will be blogging the fest all weekend, check that out. If someone could jet me up out there right now I'd appreciate that, give me a ring.
Lastly, the invented holiday of Fathers Day is this Sunday, so go hang out with yer Dad will ya. He misses you ...
