what about peace

Tonight ....I fly ...

WWCD will be on summer vacation as I depart the country for 10 days, starting tonight. I am going to what might be the most talked about, yet smallest country on earth. A place everyone should visit at least once, if not more often, a place important to many of us for many reasons, and a place where the falafel and hummus flow like wine, thats right Israel. I figured what better way to celebrate Hama's victory in the Gaza then to go celebrate as close as I can go without getting brutally murdered. Seriously though, I'll be fine.....in fact I will be there for the very first pitch. (and by the way that game will be televised in NYC)

Shalom.....

Other Things:

A good friend of mine, gets some serious, well deserved respect by the NY Times.... she is the everyday hero

I do not like Hillary Clinton all that much, but I tell ya this commerical is well done

Amy Winehouse is so hot right now...

While I am away....check out JazzBlahg!

Do not forget when Clyde returns he is headed right for the Rodrigo y Gabriela Show at Summerstage...

If I were in NY this week..I'd be seeing Wilco, The Slip and bunch of other great shows....so go out and see some great music, and pray as I will be, that the Knicks somehow pick up Kobe.

and finally an enjoyable little piece of wisdom....which is a reminder for another friend about to make a big life change....

"The whole wide world is a very narrow bridge (a very narrow bridge), but the most important thing to recall is to have no fear at all (have no fear at all)"
