joes nycI am I the only one, or does the current political discourse in this country make you ill as well. Yea, I get it, we all want GWB outta Washington, but face reality man, he is there for the next 18 months. Meanwhile the candidates are trolling the nation, debating, sniping at each other, back stabbing for votes, the "campaign" is in full swing. We are going to deal with this until November 2008, a year and half from now. All told this is a 2 year campaign. How much can you take, how disinterested will we be come election day? And on top of it not one of the current candidates excites me all that much. The world is in an extermely precarious state right now, and no one wants to tell the truth, no one wants to face facts, I hear calls for change, but is anyone really ready to change? Am I depressed, nah....Am I completely apathetic to the whole experience, ofcourse.
Anyway....its almost time for my weekly vacation, called the weekend....the only solace to my cubicle existence. Go see the Simpsons Movie....laugh a little....its good for you
