The other day someone said, "Hey, you checking out any of the CMJ fest, I said no, not interested in any of the bands (which is not true upon second thought), and I got that look of "ugh, I thought you were cool, but you are not". Whatever, trendy rockbands, and hipsters wearing tight jeans following the latest fad, just does not appeal to me. Discovering who the next "Bloc Party" is....I have better things to do and better musicians to support. That said, there are some decent acts playing the 4 day fest at various venues....

Check this out, October Rebellion strikes tonight all over Washington DC. Could get ugly...or could be a bunch of faceless, angry, intetnet bloggers getting together to show their faces in public....only time will tell. These kids are MAD at the Neoliberalism.....whatever that means
