this is what my menorah looked like last night on the 2nd night of HanukkahFor my third night of Hanukkah I'll be checking out the Hasidic Reggae Stylings of one Matisyahu. Matis, is cool, though I have my issues with him. In any event his shows are fun, and tonights show at the Warsaw promises to be fun...I like fun.
Lettuce is BACK - the funky funky outfit known as Lettuce is getting back together for one show on 2/29. The group consists of Eric Krasno (Soulive), Adam Deitch (John Scofield, Wyclef Jean), Sam Kininger (Soulive Horns), Ryan Zoidis (Rustic Overtones), Adam Smirnoff (Robert Randolph) and Erik Coomes (DJ Quick). Also joining in for the performance at New York City's Sullivan Hall (they have renovated and re-named Lions Den) on February 29 will be Krasno's Soulive bandmate, Neal Evans. Sweeeeeeet!
