Ouch, a terrible football weekend for many of us, especially for us in the NY area, but could it have been any worse for the over-hyped Tony Romo?? In what can only be viewed as the worst sequence of all time, Tony Romo, QB for the Dallas Cowgirls, mis-handled the game winning FG attempt, only to pick up the ball and fumble again, just 1 yard short of the goal line, leading the Cowgirls out of the playoffs. Way to go, Tony! What a tough day for everybody's All American and which reminded me of a fictional similar bungle, that of Ray Finkle, in the movie Ace Venture Pet Detective.
In other news the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame annouced its new inductees for it's 22nd year, they are; Van Halen, the Ronettes, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, R.E.M. and Patti Smith. Once again, progressive rock legends, RUSH and YES, were excluded. Thus, for another year WWCD will recommend a boycott of all R&R H of F activities.
