Big trade in the NBA today, as Golden State sent their white guys in return for some of Indiana's black guys. So typical, send the black guys to Oakland (urban), send the white guys to Indianapolis (hickville). This trade reaks of racial overtones, and am I the only one who is concerned about this...probably. I also learned the sister of someone I work with dates Mike Dunleavey ......isn't that sorta cool...maybe?........
Has anyone ever heard of the band Dispatch? I have not, but they somehow managed to sell out Madison Square Garden for three straight nights in July. I did some research and their story is quite incredible (in addition the members of the band seem quite humble), check it out.
Book Recommendation: "The Places Inbetween" by Rory Stewart . Story of a Scottish historian who walked across Afghanistan six weeks after the Taliban were defeated. It was winter, he walked through the mountains, and lived to tell the story. Its more than just an incredible story, its an insight into a world you have abolutely no idea exists.
Knicks vs Wizards tonight, how they went from the Washington Bullets (dangerous, but cool) to the Wizards (lame and wimpy) I have no idea. In any event, Glbert Arenas is really good, weird but good, and he is the lead Wizard........

not too impressed with the blog today, which is dissapointing since i so look forward to it every day. the part about dispatch was cool though...at least my comment isn't seeking money.
